I chose Do You Carrot All For Me because It uses a lot of figurative language like my heart beets for you. Also more figurative language is weed make a swell pear. I also chose this one because it is funny. Also because I hate veggies but this poem made me like veggies. Also cause i don't like the Romance in The Castle In The Fire. I don’t like princesses either.
The Castle in the Fire is about a dragon that is attacking a castle. Also they share what the knights look like.

I like The castle in a Fire because I like to draw dragons. That can also show me imagery so I can draw a dragon. Also a crouching dragon can not be true so its personification. There is also an alliteration when it says while we watched in wonder. Lastly I really like the writer's craft because that is what we have been learning.

I chose The castle in the Fire as the winner because. I like movies of dragons fighting knights. One of the writer's craft is Imagery. I could see the dragon fighting the knight. The second writer’s craft is the rhyme scheme. It is ABCB.

The poem “The Castle in the Fire” is about a knight rescuing a lady in a castle when it caught on fire from a dragon.
I choose “The Castle in the Fire” as the winner because it has great imagery. For example when the lady and the knight rode away together. I could also imagine when the castle caught on fire. The personification in that poem is when the dragon breathed fire.

I think the winner should be The Castle in the Fire. Because it makes more sense. Also I kind of like dragons. It is not that weird. The writer's craft is I got an image of a dragon. One more example of writer's craft was a rhyme scheme.

I like this poem, because it is about a knight that was living in a castle with dragons flying around it. I like this Rhyme Scheme. I chose,”Do You Carrot All For Me, because I like the vegetable jokes with the poem. It was about love. There isn’t any Repetition, but it’s funny. I love this poem even though there wasn’t any Onomatopoeia. I like the joke, Do you carrot for me and I figured out that it means Do you care for me.

Winner- I liked Do You Carrot All For Me more, because it was very funny. It had a lot of word play. (ex- my heart beets for you, lettuce marry) I had a lot of imagery also. I could picture someone’s heart being a beet, two lettuces marrying, and two pears making a swell pear. Those are my reasons why Do You Carrot All For Me should win.
