Thanksgiving is a holiday where we show how grateful and thankful we are for the gifts in our lives. Can you think of something or someone YOU are thankful for?
Decide on one thing you are most thankful for and write a 5 sentences paragraph describing that person, place, or thing.
Be sure to include:
- a topic sentence
- supporting details
- complete sentences
- correct spelling, capitalization (M.I.N.T.S.), and end punctuation.
- a closing sentence

I am thankful for many things, my family, food and water, sports, education, and many more things. I am just going to write about OHS. I am thankful for all my teachers friends and all the people who help support OHS.

I’m thankful for my friends because they can hangout with me and we would have lots of fun together. I’m thankful for my family because they love me and I love them. My family is always there for me and we love to play together. So I am thankful for the most important people in my life, including God.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things that I’m thankful for is my dog Sally. I love petting her and she loves it to. She likes to snuggle but hates other dogs. She also for some reason hates old men in hats and my grandfather loves to wear hats. She is golden-brown and is the cutest dog I have ever seen. I really love my dog Sally

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in the hospital a lot of people came and visited me. I am very thankful that they took time out of there day to come and visit me. I am so thankful for the friends I have. They cheer me up when I am sad. I could never ever ever ever have better friends.

ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my family. I love my family and like sharing thanksgiving with them. I love my mom, dad, sisters, my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, my dog Bear, my turtle, and my three frogs. I love spending time with my family because they are funny and kind. I also like spending time with them because I love them and they are my family. I would rather spend time with them than anyone else.
I am grateful for my mom because she does many things for me such as buying my brother and I clothes and providing us with a meal every night. One night she made chili for dinner specifically for me because she knows that I love chili. One day she took me to the mall to buy clothes for the beach and I was so thankful for that. When she can tell that I am sad she always sits down and asks me what is wrong and she comforts me and tells me it is okay. I am so thankful that my mom is always there for me when I need her the most. I love spending quality time with my mom and laughing and smiling with her. After all my mom has done for me I think that I should do a lot for her because she works hard every day cleaning the house, cleaning dishes, making beds, and making food. So from now on, I think that I will take on the chores. I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I am thankful for… I am thankful for my dad because he is the one who puts food on our plates, and a roof over our head. I am thankful for my mom because she is the one who picks us up from school each day, and usually takes us to school. I am thankful for my brother even tho he teases me, he watches my basketball games, and he plays with me. I am thankful for my sisters because they are the ones who laugh all the time and make me laugh. That is who I am thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for the time I had with my dog, Bailey. He was always faithful towards us; no matter how many times he had an easy chance to run away he stayed. He always comforted me when I was down. Bailey brang joy to our family by showing his restless spirit and chasing balls all over the house, so my parents always say,” Everybody always thinks he’s a puppy!” And,”He used to say,”Look at the new game I made up!”!” Our dog always made our other dog, cookie, happy. This is why I am thankful for Bailey.
