I chose Roger the Dog as the winner because. I like poems about lazy dogs. Also I liked the similes and metaphors. Also he reminds my dog martha because she's lazy. Her is an example of a metaphor from Roger the Dog. For example, He’s just a sack of snoring dog. You can lug him like a log.

I think the winner is Roger the dog because I love dogs, I can picture it really well, and I love sleeping. I could picture a lazy dog sleeping by the fire.

I think Roger the Dog won because it was very funny when he rolled in cowclap, and it was detailed. I liked the poem Falling Star but I liked Roger the Dog better. This poem had a great rhyme scheme but was not very detailed.
