Dear students,
Pretend that you are a wriggly, wiggly, roly-poly puppy, and you have been chosen as a Christmas present for a boy or girl.
First, tell how you feel saying good-bye to your family. Then, describe being placed in a box under the tree.
Finally, write about what it’s like to meet your new friend and owner.
Your paragraph must be at least 5 sentences long and include the following:
- a topic sentence
- supporting details
- complete sentences
- correct spelling, capitalization (M.I.N.T.S.), and end punctuation.
- a closing sentence
Happy blogging,
Mrs. Eads
If I had to say good-bye to my family, I would be very sad and sort-of lonely. I would be very mad and scared that I was being placed in a box under the Christmas tree. I would be happy that I see a human finally. I might be excited that I have a new owner because they do things a different way. On the other hand, I might not like how they do things.

If I had to say good-bye I would be so sad. I would never see them again. THat is a big deal. When I am under the tree I would be really happy to see nature again. When I get but in the box that would be a whole nother story, I would squirm so much.(how would I know what’s going on. When they open up the box I would be so excited. My person found me! That was a long game of hide and seek, and a scary one. -Sarah
ReplyDeletePS- I would be a golden retriever.
If I was a puppy as a Christmas present and had to say goodbye to my family I would be scared. It is very small and boring to be in a box . If I would be carried I thought I would be flying. When I would my owner I ran so fast to it I was there in two seconds.

if I were the puppy I would go crazy and bark like crazy and ask for a bone
ReplyDeleteIf i were a puppy for christmas i would be for a boy. I would be a puppy beagle. I would not be sad to say goodbye to my family. Also i would probably be an early present because i would bark like crazy because no barbarians would put a puppy in a box. Finally my owners would think I would be a pain but i would just give puppy eyes. That's how it would go. thomas
ReplyDeleteIf I were a puppy on Christmas getting shipped I would freak out and once the little kids opened the box I would be scared and bark a lot. and then when they took me out I would sortove shiver and then I would lick my owner.ames
ReplyDeleteI would feel sad about leaving my family but I probably would not remember my family that well. Then if I was in a box under the tree I would wiggle around a lot and wonder where I am. I would be so happy to get out of that box. Once I got out of the box I would be so happy to see my family. I would be a french bulldog.

If I was a puppy and I am leaving I would be bawling crying and I would miss my family and friends. Once I got to the house it was gigantic. I was so scared. Once I went in the house I would be shaking so bad. When they would put me in a box I would be so scared I would be shaking and barking like crazy! Once he opened me out of the box I would be VERY playful I would jump and lick all over him!

You're so dang cute I say bark I like her this is my story.
ReplyDeleteIf I was a puppy given to someone on Christmas morning, I would be very, very sad to leave my family. But I would also be very excited to meet my new family! Being put in a box was very uncomfortable. I would give the occasional squeak of pain, and a loud shhh! back. I would feel the itchy cardboard on my back. I would try to squeeze myself as small as I can to escape through the airholes poked in side the box. Finally, I would here the sound of feet, pounding down the stairs and the living room where the Christmas tree was. Then I heard the lid of the box I was in peel open. I was so happy! I could leave the dreaded box! Then I felt myself being hugged by someone. This is officially the best day of my life!
