For your final blog posts, you will write a persuasive paragraph in a series called "Would You Rather." In each post, I will give you a scenario, and you will have to defend your answer using the following criteria:
- A topic sentence stating your opinion
- At least 3 supporting sentences defending your opinion
- One counter argument
- A concluding sentence summarizing your writing
Here is your "Would You Rather" for today:
Would you rather have a unicorn horn or a squirrel tail?

I would rather have a unicorn horn than a squirrel tail! Because unicorn horns have magic powers in their horns. It would also be cool because it has sparkles and I love sparkles. My final reason is Because I like unicorn horns a lot. Some people think squirrel tails are better but then you will have a tail and it would get caught in everything. In conclusion unicorn horns are better!

DeleteI would rather have a unicorn horn. I could have a unicorn horn with any color on it. I would also look really cool if I had this. Some may say that a squirrel tail is better because it looks better, but if you had a unicorn horn you could have in any color, now isn’t that better that a tail. That is why I picked a unicorn horn.

ReplyDeleteI would want a unicorn horn because unicorn horns are the perfect shape to hold donuts. Also, you would look very magical and you can customize and give your horn makeovers. However, some may say that having a squirrel tail is better because you can have a beutiful luschous tail that can keep you warm, but if you have unicorn horn people wouldn't be able to step on it but if you had a squirrel tail people could step on it. This is why I would want a unicorn horn.
I would rather have a squirrel tail than a unicorn horn. I would do this because it is soooooo fluffy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! Also, I have always wanted a tail of some kind. Also, I will brag to people that I have a squirrel tail. Some people might want to have a unicorn horn because sometimes you have a bad hair day! But I still think squirrel tails are totally BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :] That why I choose a squirrel tail. :]

ReplyDeleteIf a burgalar came into my house I could stab him with my horn. The last reason is I could do cool tricks with it like spin on my head. Some people might have a squirrel tail but why would you have a squirrel tail rather than a unicorn horn. This is why I choose a unicorn horn.
I would rather have a squirrel tail. Here are my reasons why. It would be fuzzy. It would also keep me warm when I am cold instead of using a blanket. It could kind of also be like a third arm. Other people might want a unicorn horn because it would look cool but other than that what else could it do. Those are my reasons why I would rather have a squirrel tail than a unicorn horn.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a squirrel tail than a unicorn horn, because I feel that a unicorn horn would get in my way, I could always hide my squirrel tail, and I could control my tail by myself. However some may prefer to have a unicorn, so it would be smaller, you would not have trouble sitting down, and they might even enjoy having a unicorn horn. Although you may have a different preference I would choose to have a squirrel tale, so you could hide it and control it by myself. I think having a squirrel tail sounds much better.

One reason I would want a unicorn horn is you could hold things like doughnuts and make younger kids happy because they love unicorns and I would already have the horn. Lastly, you could poke people with it if you want to annoy them, but other than that it won’t be in people’s way unlike a tail would be. Some other people would argue that they would rather have a tail, but it could get in people’s way and they could step it. All these reasons are why I would want a unicorn horn over a squirrel tail.

The second reason is that I have always wanted my own unicorn horn. The third reason is that I could be a real unicorn for halloween. However, some may argue that squirrel tails are better than unicorn horns because they are fluffy. I think unicorn horns are better because it comes in all different colors. That is the reasons why I would rather have a unicorn horn than a squirrel's tail.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have squirrel tail. I could have a soft tail that I could use as a pillow. I could also hop around on my tail. A unicorn horn might poke someone and they would get hurt and I would not want to do that. Some people may think a unicorn horn is better. For example, It might look cool, but that is all there is to a unicorn horn. These are my reasons why I chose a squirrel tail. What would you choose?

ReplyDeleteWould you rather have a unicorn horn or a squirrel tail. If you had a squirrel tale you could have a fluffy tale and a new pair of pants. Also you can ballance and have a homemade blanket. If you had a unicorn horn you can have a head an accessory and a hat. I would choose a unicorn horn but it doesn't have powers. Also it makes you very ugly. I chose having a squirrel tale.
I would have a squirrel tail rather than a unicorn horn because your tail will keep you warm. Also,it will help you climb trees. Finally, you could always be wearing something warm. Some may think a unicorn horn is better because you have cool powers,but some unicorn horns don't have powers. Those are the reasons why I chose to have a squirrel tail.

ReplyDeleteI would rather have a squirrel tail than a unicorn horn. First, Because you can climb trees faster and be able to not fall off of that tree because they balance you. Second, It would keep you warm in the winter. Also, you would get lots of attention because everyone would want to feel your furry tail. Last but not least, you could show how you are feeling with your tail by wagging it. Some people might choose unicorns they think they’re awesome. But that’s not the deal for me. That is why I do not want a unicorn horn. I want a squirrel tail.
I would rather have squirrel tail rather than have a unicorn horn. I think the tail would be nice because you could climb trees. But not only that the tail doesn’t get in your way unlike the unicorn horn. For example, If you were getting a rebound in basketball, the horn may spike the ball and then you wouldn’t have a ball. Now some people would choose the other way around because it is funny. But every one would be staring at you if you had a unicorn horn. But if you had a tail, you could just disguise it with pants. This was the weirdest “would you rather ever!”

Some may think that having a tail is better but with a horn you can keep fidget spinners on it. I love unicorn horns.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a unicorn horn than a squirrel tail, because you could buck people with it. JK! Also, you could do circus and balance on your horn. If you wanted to reach something, just use your horn. However, some people might prefer having a squirrel tail because you could balance better, but if you had a unicorn horn, you could play ring toss and all sorts of games! That is why I would rather have a unicorn horn than a squirrel tail.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a unicorn horn, than have a squirrel tail. I chose this because then when you order donuts, they would just put it on your horn, and not waste a plastic bag. Another reason, is that the horn could help you protect yourself. You would be like “bam bam bam!” and the person you were fighting would be like “noooooooooooo!”. However, some people may think that having a squirrel tail is better because then it would be really fluffy. But I think that if you have a unicorn horn, you could write with it if you put dipped it in ink. That is why I chose having a unicorn horn, than having a squirrel tail.

Although some people may prefer a unicorn horn which would be cool looking, but I would still rather have a squirrel tail. This is why I choose what I choose.
ReplyDeleteI would want the unicorn horn instead of a tail. I would it because I think it look cooler than the tail. Also, I would have to get special shorts with the tail. Thirdly, I think it would just be really fun and funny to have a unicorn horn on your head. Some people may that a squirrel tail but, you can damage your tail and get it dirty all the time. I would want a unicorn horn more than a squirrel tail for many different reasons.

ReplyDeleteI would rather have a unicorn horn than a squirrel tail because that would be beast. You could use it as another space to put doughnuts and eat them any time. You could chop things down like trees. You could use it like another hand. However, you could not fit beast hats on, but you could keep extra hats with you on hooks with the horn. For a game you could spray paint it to look like the color of your favorite team. You could always use a unicorn horn.

This is because it would be fun to play with you could go up to people lower your horn and say “Get out of my way.” Also if someone broke into your house you could defend your family. When you have a unicorn horn you could fight narwhals. However some people would say they would rather have a squirrel tail because you could lie down on it and sleep, but you would need to have a hole in your pants to show off your tail. This is why I would rather have a unicorn horn than a squirrel tail.

You could also swing from trees with your tail and always win in hide and go seek, you could hide in a tree and let your tail fall out of it so it just looks like a squirrel is in the tree. Some may say that having a unicorn horn is better but that would be false you would always be getting stuck on doors. Also you wouldn't be able to get into small places such as your attic without hitting your horn. Also you couldn’t sleep because your horn would be in the way. That is why I would rather have a squirrel tail.

ReplyDeleteMy very fluffy and loveable puppy Mudge has well we call it a squirrel tail, because it looks just like the tail a squirrel has, except white. We could start a squirrel tail club!
Second if had a unicorn horn it would be really hard to do, scratch, and itch my head!
Lastly, with my squirrel tail I could sleep on it wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to curl up in a ball in Mrs. Mcgee’s room, and take a nap!
However others might say that it would be better to be able to have a unicorn horn because they can produce magic or just to look cool, but having a tail would be just as cool!
Those are my reasons I think that that I would rather have a tail more than a horn!
I would rather have a unicorn horn. I would rather have a unicorn horn because, I would get to decorate it with ribbons or sparkles, It would probably be a pretty color, And most of all it would make me look really cool being “twins” with a unicorn. Although a squirrel tale is really fun and soft it would be kind of itchy or annoying at sometimes like if you're sitting down or even standing up. That is why I would like to have a unicorn horn.

Also, I would be taller and probably make more height restrictions. However, some people would rather have a squirrel tail because they could snuggle up with it and sleep with it at night. Even knowing that I would rather have a unicorn horn than have a squirrel tail. My last reason is that I could spray paint it colors and it would look really awesome.

I would rather have a squirrel tail on me than a unicorn horn. You would be able to dust up things and snuggle up in it at night if you are cold. I could see how people would chose the unicorn horn over the squirrel tail because it looks cool and you could get famous, but with a squirrel tail you could use it to cuddle up and if it is raining you could put your tail over your head like a umbrella. You could pick stuff up with your tail and even hang on it. It would also be fun because it looks awesome when you walk around. I like the tail better than a horn.

ReplyDeleteI would rather have a squirrel tail because if you are sick and you are to lazy to walk and get a blanket you can wrap your tail around you. When you play hide and go seek you hide under a blanket that looks like a squirrel tail and so your tail looks like the blanket you would win every time. You can also have a tickle fight and you would win! However, people might want a unicorn horn because it has powers, well you could cast a curse on accident and it probably gets stuck in everything like a hat, bed, and a jacket. but squirrel tails are soft, smooth, and you could use it as a pillow. That is why I want a squirrel.

I can sleep on my squirrel tail if the ground is hard, and I would use it for a blanket if I didn’t have a blanket. I would use it for cover if it was raining so I would not get rained on. Some people will choose a unicorn horn because it might look stylish but I think I would do squirrel tail cause you can do so much things with it, like sleeping on it if you do not have a blanket, also you can use it for cover if it is raining so you don’t get rained on, and you can use it for something to sleep on if the ground is hard.
